Bar Di Maria
A nice stop for breakfast. Visiting the Mercato Ballarò is definitely one of the "mustsee" in Palermo!
In the middle of a rather grungy market is this nice little store. Don’t expect English, but you won’t need it to say "due cannoli, per favore" and everyone will understand your facial expression of delight when you taste it. It’s hard to believe a cannoli could be better, and I’ll be pleased if I ever again find one that comes close.
Best coffee in Palermo
An unassuming little place but great for a quick stop when visiting this busy market. Friendly courteous service too.
Nice and neat small caffetteria. Prices are OK (espresso €1 mini croissant €1). We had a small brunch there, it definitely was not closed (19th of May 2017).
Worth a visit in this little folkloristic place just the time of a coffee or juice by walk and of course the CANNOLO
Nice little family owned cafe
While you are strolling through Ballaro market, you can stop for an iced espresso and a couple of mini cannolis at this charming cafe. The family are very friendly and have been there for over 45 years. Worth a stop!
