Perfection in Polignana
Spent three nights in one of their beautiful suites with private balcony. First off, the grounds and common rooms are stunning! This authentic, family run masseria is understated luxury at its best! Owner/hosts Sylvia and husband were lovely and helpful and have superb taste and Nico and another young woman (didn’t save name) were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, graciously offering to call our next hotel to work out confusing parking details(ZTL!)...thank you! Outdoor terrace breakfasts were full of homemade baked goods, fresh fruit and yogurt, made to order hot eggs and specials, fresh focacci, burrata and list continues. We enjoyed a quiet dinner in their beautiful, simple dining room and one lunch, tucked into a corner on the terrace...all were wonderful. We were so busy enjoying the local beaches, that we did not find time to take advantage of their bikes or cooking classes, but will be sure to next visit! You will not find a better place, so go ahead and book this beauty:)
Beautiful masseria with a wonderful host & staff. Lovely grounds and delicate rooms, and the small restaurant has a nice menu of homemade dishes and a fine choice of local wines. Great location for the region with a lot to see. Highly recommended!
Charming & Romantic Masseria!
Returned end of last month from incredible trip to Italy that included the Apuglia region. Fortunate enough to be able to reserve 2 nights at this traditional, yet luxurious, romantic, charming, relaxing, & unique masseria just minutes from beautiful Polignano a Mare. Lovely and attentive staff, beautiful grounds, delicious food and amazing breakfast buffets with homemade tortas, and many other items that varied daily. Very Covid safe as serving staff made individual plates based on our choices, plus options for special daily dishes were included. Although only Classic room was available, it was very comfortable & charming, great shower! It didn’t feel "standard" in the usual sense.Had a private patio (although the beeping to keep away snakes/lizards was annoying lol! May not be noticed by others, but also would like to open doors for fresh air and felt it not a good idea due to possible critters. This was ONLY negative). I very much hope to return and spend more time. The outdoor areas were outstanding. the indoor spaces low key and comfortable luxury. Enjoyed the 2 dinners we had outside in the courtyard. Food and wines delicious, particularly the homemade pastas. Lovely pool, but didn’t utilize as weather turned fall and water was cold. Particularly enjoyed our first evening enjoying aperitivi on private pergola patio. Very romantic & enchanting. Many secluded and special areas to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Staff were all particularly helpful & welcoming, nothing ever a problem, Nico & Mimmo were always available as was Francesco perhaps? Silvana was lovely, came to say goodbye upon departure. Cannot wait to return!
Wonderful property, wonderful staff, wonderful food!
Recently spent a week at this unique property in Puglia via Simpson Travel and would struggle to find fault with it in any material way. The masseria is located in the middle or farmland, so peaceful and ideal for a relaxing break. The room decor is simple, comfortable and calming - a real pleasure to relax in. And the pool was lovely - just big enough for a couple of swims each day to burn off some pasta calories. Covid measures carefully considered - for example, a wonderful breakfast buffet each day with amazing cakes and pastries, but you stand back from the food and get served what you choose. The dinner options had daily variety around a standard menu, but nothing was too much trouble for the kitchen - all the food was sensibly portioned and wonderfully tasty (Silvana advised me that she had taken on the chef in June, having done the cooking herself previously - she would do well to keep him!). Speaking of Silvana, the proprietor, what can I say? She was the most perfect, kind and attentive host, as were all the staff we met, not forgetting Zoe the dog :-) Local towns were full of Italian character and we were recommended some great restaurants locally on those nights we strayed. Be aware if not used to rural Italian taxis - they ain’t cheap. Also, would recommend choosing local car hire from the airport (such as Locauto or Noleggiare) - we heard of Avis customers with a c4 hour wait for a car at Brindisi airport as they had none available, despite being pre-booked - we picked up ours from Noleggiare inside 20 minutes but my brother-in-law, booked with Avis via BA, left the queue after an hour and took a cab to the masseria. That aside, Masseria le Torri is fantastic - would not hesitate to recommend :-)
Perfect stay at Masseria Le Torri!
Masseria Le Torri was the destination for our mini-moon, and we are really glad to have picked it. The location is great, a short drive from Polignano A Mare which meant it was nice and quiet but also a stone’s throw away from this vibrant town. Our suite was lovely and spacious, comfortable and very clean. The real highlight was the staff and service. Always helpful, and extremely accommodating – with me being vegan and my wife being vegetarian, Sylvana was kind enough to cater an individual breakfast for us each morning, and always willing to make us special dishes off menu for dinner. Nico and the rest of the staff too were always on hand to answer any questions. The pool was great and a place where many guests spent much time relaxing. We had the best week here, and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you to all at Masseria Le Torri!
